For What It’s Worth is a feature documentary about the labour in gold production. The film sets at three very different places in the world, where people are working with gold. Images of Filipino miners and small tunnels blend with those of a protest against a new Greek goldmine and of the work in a Belgian clean lab. Together, they tell an intimate and poetic story of labour in the globalised economy.
