In Between Revolutions follows a group of queer pro-Palestinian activists in Berlin as they adapt The Faggots and Their Friends Between Revolutions for the stage. Interlacing scripted sequences and improvisation, the film portrays the intersection of queer identity and contemporary leftist struggle through rehearsals, conversations, and glimpses into their daily lives and activist activities.
