Jamal Hindawi (50), Palestinian, lives with his family in the Shatila refugee camp in Beirut, where he makes political theatre. Together with a group of friends, he is currently working on a play that tells the story of an old jacket that symbolises the Palestinian identity. But the evening before the premiere of the play, Jamal forgets the theatre prop on the bus. He starts a nightly journey through the streets of Beirut and is confronted with a city in radical transition. The successive crises and protests leave deep scars.
